The authentic full hunting experience is designed for three days but can be extended depending on the knowledge you wish to gain about the different quarries and the number of species you wish to pursue.
In the three-day program, you will have the opportunity to stalk, hunt, butcher, and cook your quarry. We are more than happy to tailor the program to your preferences.
First of all, we want to ensure you have a wonderful time with us, feeling welcomed and at ease. You will be guided through the program and the three days by professional PHs who share your passion for nature and hunting. Our goal is to provide you with an authentic and meaningful experience.
Typically, on day one, you will get to know the hunting area, studying the wildlife that lives there and identifying the target animal. Furthermore, we will plan the stalk for the next day, ensuring that we are familiar with the terrain and know what to expect. Another fundamental aspect is getting to know the weapon we will be using, practicing with it, and understanding how to operate it safely.
On day two, we dive into the action, typically going on two outings: one in the early morning and a second in the evening. Depending on the quarry, we may choose different tactics or plan to stay out all day, eating something on the go while in the woods.
This day is where our knowledge and practice from day one pay off—the moment of truth. After studying the habits, tracking, and focusing on harvesting the animal we identified, it becomes an exhilarating experience. Regardless of your level of experience as a hunter, it is always exciting and humbling to take an animal from the wilderness, as it allows us to connect with nature and our primal roots.
Day three is dedicated to our quarry; respecting and making the most of our catch is fundamental, as it defines what makes us hunters.
Typically, if we are successful on day two, we have already skinned and gutted the animal, allowing the meat to rest overnight. The next morning, we proceed with butchering the carcass, learning the different cuts and familiarizing ourselves with local culinary recipes for game, as well as understanding how hunting and butchering can influence the taste and quality of the meat.
